shrimp disease study

The Center for Human Health Risk and partners at Hollings Marine Laboratory (HML) offer many of the opportunities for scientists and students to be involved in research focusing on environmental chemistry, human dimensions of coastal management, natural products discovery, ecotoxicology, marine genomics, biological and chemical oceanography, estuarine ecology, marine animal health, marine environmental specimen banking, and aquaculture.

Students

Graduate students enrolled at HML partners,  the College of Charleston and the Medical University of South Carolina or other high learning institutions may conduct research at the HML if their advisor is a Principal Scientist with CHHR or partners at the HML.

Undergraduate students can apply to conduct summer research within one of the many internship programs offered by the NOAA, CHHR, and HML Partners.

Scientists

Researchers wishing to work with the CHHR or with partners at the HML should check for job availability at USA Jobs or HML partner institution websites.
